Recently, CNHOPE ENERGY has delivered customized residential energy storage system solutions in batches for rural residential clusters in China and villa communities overseas. Two mature technical approaches have been developed for the two mainstream scenarios: energy storage matching newly-built residential photovoltaic systems and retrofitting energy storage to existing photovoltaic installations. Dozens of household energy upgrading projects have been successfully completed and won unanimous praise from property owners.

For newly built single-family houses, the project adopts a full new-set solution consisting of photovoltaic modules, grid-connected energy storage all-in-one machines and large-capacity energy storage batteries to build an independent household microgrid. The system prioritizes consuming solar power generation, and surplus electricity is stored in energy storage batteries for household use at night, completely freeing users from fluctuating grid electricity prices. It can operate independently during power outages to guarantee basic power supply for the whole house.

For old residential buildings already equipped with photovoltaic facilities but lacking energy storage equipment, the technical team has launched a lightweight renovation solution. There is no need to remove the original inverters. Energy storage capacity expansion can be realized simply by installing power conversion systems and battery packs, which greatly shortens the construction period and reduces overall costs. The whole system supports remote monitoring via mobile APP, enabling real-time viewing of power generation, stored energy and electricity-saving benefits with all power consumption data clearly displayed.

Project statistics show that after adopting this household energy storage solution, the self-consumption rate of household photovoltaic power rises from less than 50% to over 90%, cutting thousands of kilowatt-hours of electricity expenses every year while providing round-the-clock emergency power backup. Featuring high safety, flexible capacity expansion and high cost performance, this complete set of residential energy storage solutions has been developed into standardized product packages. It can be rapidly replicated and popularized among urban and rural residences as well as overseas household markets, setting a solid model for the implementation of distributed household new energy projects.
